HOW TO SOLVE GM TECH II SECURITY ISSUES

Problem:I have atech IIwith Saab v148.o cardin it. I have tried from Globaltis(Cracked) and TIS 2000 (Hardware key) but cannot gain security access.

Tis2000 gives me the error "cannot connect with securityserver”

Globaltis just says "error” when trying to gain security access.

I know it is communicating with the tech ii,because during the security check the tech goes from the home screen to "downloading”.

I am using a laptop with a TRENDnet TU-S9 USB to Serial Converter running XP SP3. I have java version 6 update 12 running.

The onlythinkI’ve noticed is the when startingglobaltisit states "SAAB Automobile AB v146.00”. I have the 148 SAAB PCIAM card, do not know if that could be affecting it or not.

NO MPPS V21! Buy MPPS V18 Instead

This is for those looking for a cheap MPPS V21 cable from China.

FYI, you are NOT advised to have MPPS V21 China clone!


If you have MPPS V21 clone, your interface might be locked.

Look here : MPPS V21 = Failure


V21 Was released AS A TIME BOMB for clones LOL.

Any V21 software will kill any clone after 10 writes.

read about 10 min and write 3-4 min

MPPS is renown for Issues on the Focus 1.6tdci Edc16ecu,

so much so i never ever tried, always same storympps.
Always used Fgtech on these, and no issues,

i would BDM or use any tool other than MPPS whatever version

the news is this is a good tool.

mpps did not corrupt my eep, file that i was made it was bad, in my happines and stupidity i put into IQ maps, 65mg fuel without changing IQ limit, 60mg

i have write that file with galletto and same problem.

today i have write another file ( good one) with mpps v18 and it was verry good.

Tips and Guides for Users with Galletto V54 China Clone

After reading this thread, I bought aGalletto V54 china clone, and hope it will be as they told me it would be. Here are some tips that I copied from hard-working friends that were willing to help us:

Tip 1:obdR-W withtempunder 50° only onrenault- boschdiesel

Tip 2: tproton vag are present from 05/2009 but is very random this option, is most present onenginewith low power and is not compeer to years orecutype.

the best way to know if tp is active is alwaysbootmodeand readtagonfile

Tip 3: desoldresonator, clean central hole, place a piece of ribbon or paper oncentralhole, resold up the quartz.

Tip 4 : don't use FGtech china for checksum correction, there are better ways like usingWinolsor something in that way.

Tip 5 : Important is also U2. You have arezistorand a cap instead oftranzistorand it has impact direct inbdmandbootmode.

Tip 6 : U2 "S5B" is the same as "ADAA". Made bytexasinstruments.

Tip 7 : You should have only one missing resistor, 4.7kohm near U19. The rest are empty places.

Tip 8 : BDM timing is dependentofsoftware and system clock (crystal or ceramic resonator), other components can't have no effect in speed.

Tip 9 : ZVN and ZVP transistors are connected to OBD pins 2 and 10,

this two are used for J1850 protocol, so cars that use it, will not work (some ford e.g.)

Tip 10 : the 70% ofproblemon this tool is not HW but SW....bad cracked and without stability (and old for v54_0386)....on HW you can play how you need.

Tip 11 : V54(0386) is poor cloned version. Firmwareneeddowngrade toV53(0475), then can use newest(11/2012) soft which is also better cracked than V54 soft.

Tip 12:SN 0386 and SN 0475 both is fw53not 54 !

differenceonly one... 0386 useswfrom 11/2012, 0475 useswfrom 12/2012 (can read/writeeppin pcr2.1 ecu)

Tip 13:fg49-50-51-52 are ALWAYS v48!

Tip 14 : Gallettoeuhave ONLYpcbbetter, nothing else!

v53_0475 chinahw-swupgraded is better

Tip 15: desoldresonator Y1, clean central hole, place a piece of ribbon or paper oncentralhole, resold up the quartz.

Tip 16 : replaced Q20 with 2N7000

Tip 17: usbcable from tool to computer, bad quality

Tip 18:-v54andv53have samepcb, not the samefw, you need changefwinside LPC2119 and use v53_0475sw

-you MUST change all components to havestabletool

- aesuse the same SW and FW of v54 china, very bad!

How to install Ford IDS + Mazda IDS in one PC

Here, wehave 3 ways to install Ford IDS and Mazda IDS in a computer/laptop:


Option 1:

One native install (e.g. Mazda IDS) and the other one on VMWare


Option 2:

Install and boot multiple operating systems using something likeBoot ItBare Metal from Terabyte. Btw, I can recommend this one as it works like a charm. Never had any problems managing my partitions.


Option 3:

Have both invmware–

you can find them on here as premade images just browse to automotive software forum then tovmware

usingvmwareis very easy and it has the advantage that if you mess up the program installation then you can just reload the image and be up and running in a fewminuites

also withvmwareyou can stop it going onto the internet by disabling the VM network adapter, but still be on the internet with your computer so you can google the problem or find the file you need and then just drag and drop itinotthe VM
